I am 48 years old. I have four children. Ages 22, 20, 20 & 14. The older children have moved out and are building beautiful lives on their own. My 14 year old is still in school and I have shared custody with her father. We are a close family my husband and I enjoy spending time with our family and friends, camping, boating, water sports, entertaining, baking, cooking, going to events and love road trips. I take pride in Everything I do and are eager to lend a helping hand. I am closing my Dayhome now that my children have moved on in life and looking for a job that will fulfill me as much as running my Dayhome and raising my children. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old. When I turned 15 I started working in daycare. I worked in a daycare in Leduc until I was 19. Then I moved to Lethbridge and worked in a daycare there until I was 22-23. I also worked for Lethbridge family services with adults and some children with brain injuries. At 24 I moved back to Leduc and started a family of my own at which time I started a Dayhome. I still have my Dayhome, but I’m looking to move on. I love working with children and caring for people.

I've been around children my whole life since I can remember and do my best to help them as much as they help me. Each one has unique gifts and idiosyncrasy's that should be cared for and nurtured. Their perspective on life is refreshing and although guidance is essential in this process they should be given the space to grow in their own way. I have cared for many children in many settings from those that I know well and those that I've met briefly. They are important and need proper care and direction and there's not much of a greater motivation personally to help them on their path.

I’m a 24 year old mom of two, looking to offer care to similarly aged children of my own (2yrs, 3mo) during daytime hours from 6am to 6pm, in my own home located near Willow Park School in Telford Court. From 6pm to 12am, I am available to watch your children in your own home, or here at mine as well! I’m a creative, inventive individual, who believes in gentle parenting with patience and respect for children of all ages. My experience differs, with over 10 years of babysitting both my younger siblings, and many neighbourhood kids. I’ve overseen children of all ages, but as I have two young ones of my own, I feel the most comfortable with the 0-5 age group. My kids and I engage in crafting and puzzles, colouring and painting, and I’ve also taken to creating neat little sensory bins, utilizing materials such as water, snow, ice, soil, and sand. We are a messy play household, so you may want to send your child with (several) changes of clothes. I believe that children have most fun through exploring on their own without limitations. We also like to get out of the house at least once a day, weather permitting, and if provided with suitable winter gear, I have a small backyard, as well as the Willow Park School playground to frequent.
