I'm Emaan. I'm going into my third year at Western pursuing Sociology. It's essentially the study of people and society, so I have developed strong skills in understanding human behavior, perceptivity and empathy which are crucial attributes as a babysitter. I grew up in Dubai, so I've had the pleasure of interacting with people of many rich and diverse cultural backgrounds as well, which is also pretty helpful! I'm a huge baker, it's how i de stress during the school year :) if butter is on sale at the grocery store, I WILL be stocking up!! I'm very into DIY and crafts, I had a small business that I ran last summer where I sold handmade rings and clay products. I'm very into personal fitness and try to gym or at least some form of exercise everyday. I'm an INFP. I'm a big ambivert in most settings, but an introvert at heart. I might not have a big, bold personality, but I believe (hope :P) I'm kind, easy going, open and gentle which is what appeals to the kids in my life! My family always calls them my shadows as they're always so attached when I go home in the holidays.

I'm currently twenty, but as the oldest daughter in a South Asian household, I've grown up taking care of my younger siblings, cousins and neices/nephews! I've been a volunteer nanny my whole life haha I am responsible, organized and perceptive. I like writing things down, and having goals to meet and ensuring they get crossed off. For example, math homework due tomorrow or bag packed for tomorrow. In terms of experience, I've taken care of newborns to teens (family or neighbors kids). Though I'm more comfortable with 1+ years old if it's just me alone! I can cook for, clean the house and entertain the little ones no prob.
