Hello, my name is Sarah and I absolutely love children they bring out the child in me with being responsible at the same time. I grew up on the sound of music with my mom. I enjoy making household chores and activities fun including learning. As someone who struggled to read and learn I love finding new ways to teach and interact to help each individual child. I did take the first year of ECE and left for medical reasons and did not complete for the certification unfortunately. I enjoy crafts and making things with children, organizing and having a routine is key. If that means making charts to help with success and to curb issues I am all for it. I believe in children being aloud to have fun and get messy. Children learn best when they can make mistakes and be held accountable for their actions while learning how to navigate this world we call life. I am all about tackling the issue and coming up with solutions no matter the problem. Open communication with children and parents is important. I want the children with me to always feel safe and know they have me in their corner as well as the parent knowing they can relax and come home to a happy environment and enjoy the family time. Thank you for any opportunities. I enjoy being outside and going on adventures. I like to dance in the rain and jump in those puddles and still do as an adult... when I'm with kids ;).

I have been around children my entire life starting at age 12 taking care of two twin girls. I still keep in contact with their mother and them I basically stayed with them (from birth to about 3). Then into high-school I cared for my cousins 4 young children even taking custody with my mother for certain time period up until 2 years ago when the kids had all grown up. I also have worked with a number of disabled children within the school system to start and then hired by several parents for out of school care and did that for many years. Personal support work with 2 terminally children who I took care of until they both passed. A story and situation that truly changed my life was them. I also worked in the developmental center at Clarke Road and worked with many students after hours. In mid 2023 I lived in with a father and two children aged 7 and 11 and took primary care while he worked until January 2024 when his job moved him and his mother has since taken over. I love being a kids but I'm a responsible adult. I'm not really into video games albeit ill play and lose for the fun of children. I prefer hands on interact and teaching as I go. I love a challenge and enjoy learning whatever interests whoever I am watching to make the time together as fun and interactive as possible. I have 5 animals myself and care for my father as my mother passed in 2019 and would love to help and join any family needing some help.
