I’m Alyssa, I’m 21 and I just recently moved to Midland. I am an experienced and dedicated nanny with a passion for fostering children’s growth and well-being. So, I like to encourage and incorporate educational components into daily activities that nurture cognitive skills through storytelling, creative expression, and counting games. I have worked with children of all ages for 10 years. I have experience working in kindergarten classrooms, daycares, day camps, and have worked as a ski instructor and swim instructor. I have worked with children 1:1, but also have taken care of large groups of children (8+). I studied Early Childhood Education for 5 months at Humber College, where I got to learn about the physical, emotional, and psychological development of children aged 0-6. I am CPR and First Aid trained, certified Lifeguard and Swim Instructor, and I have experience with tutoring (reading and writing).
