Hello,
My name is Natalya and I would love to be your child's babysitter or nanny!
I have 5+ years of experience in childcare, within my family. I am a Canadian, with a Sri Lankan heritage.
I presently live in Streetsville and live with my partner and my little doggo Dodger.
My education is grounded in the visual arts and I enjoy drawing and painting in my spare time. I am also an amateur student of history, with a primary interest in fashion through the ages. I also love food! Exploring international cuisine is definitely a pastime I enjoy.
I have a passion for helping people which inspired me to acquire my CPR C/AED certification via the Red Cross.
My care for children and those in need has inspired me to work towards my PSW certification.
I am a very liberal person and would consider myself to be egalitarian in all ways, so please keep this in mind if you decide to hire me! I don't tolerate discrimination in any of its forms-I believe compassion and empathy are what this world needs and I intend on providing that to the little ones whom I am privileged to care for <3
My most active role as a childcare provider was for the first five years of my youngest sister's life (she is 18 years younger than me). I performed all the necessary duties required for daily care (bathing, diaper changing, dressing, feeding, nighttime bottle feeding, and general comforting).
I played with her, read books, and took daily exercise in the form of walks or visits to the playground.
During the first years of attending school (junior and senior kindergarten), I dressed her and prepared her breakfast and snacks for school. I was responsible for walking her to the bus stop and ensured that she safely boarded the school bus.
In addition to the my very personal and practical experience, I also bring with me a certification in CPR C/ AED and a driver's license.
I would like to conclude by saying that I have genuine compassion and empathy towards children (and all people, but kids especially) which I believe they would benefit from if they were placed in my care.
Thanks for reading and I hope to meet your little one(s) soon!
-Natalya
