I think the most rewarding part about caring for children is fostering relationships with them and their families. I really cherish the moments where I can help families support a child's growth and become an integral part of their development. Children also need adults who give them love, affection, and appreciation. I can help children from birth to learn the skills that will make it possible for them, too, to become competent, happy, and caring adults.

Once a woman in our church gives birth, I would be waiting eagerly for her to bring the baby to church. Then I become friends with the baby by carrying them and caring for them in church. Many year later, my mum had our last born. This time, I took the role of a mother to her because I was already 16 years. One thing that I am grateful for is that all the babies I took care of that period are now big and still remember the love I showed towards them when they were very little. My mom will l go to work and leave her in my custody. I became like my sister's mom. I will bath her, feed her, play with her, rock her to bed, change her diapers, and every other thing my mom wanted me to do. When she started going to school, i would also take her and bring her back from school and support with any assignment. It was a fun experience for me.
