Hello! My name is Rose. I am from Toronto, Ontario, and moved to Montreal back in July. Currently, I live in the Plateau area with three other roommates. I am a full-time student at Concordia, where I am studying Acting for the Theatre. This is my first year after taking two gap years; during one I traveled to Banff, while in the other I stayed in Toronto and worked at a vintage store called Exile. I have a deep passion for vintage clothing and sustainable fashion. It's very important to make the most out of found materials so they don't go to waste. Outside of school, I participate in a lot of improv and sketch comedy. Not only do I love improv, but I also enjoy teaching it at the Concordia Improv Club, which I run with a few others. Currently, I am a regular performer in the Sunday Night Improv shows at Theatre Saint Catherine and I hope to partake in the Montreal Sketch Fest this year. I have lots of different hobbies. I enjoy watching lots of comedy and older movies (particularly 70s musicals), I sing and play the guitar, and have taught both children improv and guitar lessons. I love to paint with acrylic on large canvases and take much inspiration from dancers and movement in my work. Being a huge outdoors enthusiast, I relish organizing canoe trips during the summer when possible, so that my friends and I can explore Canada's parks. This year, I'm hoping to find some good spots for camping in Montreal. In terms of work ethics, I am hard-working and attentive. I'm task oriented and am very organized within whatever work I'm doing. I'm very outgoing and can handle lots of chaos when it comes to big group of kids! I am currently learning french right now but am not very good at the moment! I hope to improve this year!

I've had lots of experience! My mom is an after school arts educator, dance teacher and babysitter, so I learned from her. She had lots of kids over after school and would get me to aid her in leading activities. I began babysitting at thirteen, with multiple once a week after school jobs as well as regular weekend gigs. I've taken care of infants up to thirteen year old kids, and can look after larger groups of kids as well. I was a camp counsellor Music by the Lake in 2017 and a CIT at Wanakita before covid in 2019. I am a very engaged babysitter. I really enjoy doing what the kids are interested in, especially if it is hands on art, music or physical activity. I taught guitar and modern dance for a year when I was 15 as well.
