I come from a big family where kids were always running and playing around so children have always been part of my life. I have been a full time nanny for the past 10 years, traveling with the same family all around the world for 8 years. I will be leaving my current position mid September to move back home and settle down and would love to find a new family to help in Montreal comes October. I am creative and enjoy the presence of kids of all ages. I believe that what kids need most is an environment where they feel safe and loved. I am a kind and patient person and I am able to make kids learn through creativity and games, as well as help older children do homework/school projects, assist them in doing chores and be there for support of any kind. I feel like the best way to show children respect is to listen to them in a caring way and learn to understand the little person they are while helping them become the best they can be.

I have been a nanny for the past 10 years. I am currently in Los Angeles, enjoying the last month with the family I have been working for these past 8 years. I am moving back to Montreal mid-September to be closer to family and be grounded after traveling for many years. While I am sad to leave this family that has become like my own, I am happy to come back to my roots and have the opportunity to help a new family. I strive to gently help children become more independent and secure no matter what their age is. Children are intelligent and curious and gain a lot by exploring and taking their time to learn new things. I like to create a safe environment for them to do just that, by taking them to the park, to the library, around the neighborhood, or simply to make art or play with their toys at home. I am a peaceful person and like to let the children guide the day while offering different activities suited to their age and keeping up with the schedule. Every child is different and I believe that with love and patience, creativity and caring, any child can blossom and grow to be happy and confident. I know my role as a nanny is important in the children's life and I take the trust their parents put in me very seriously. I am available to work starting October 1rst. I am open to part-time and full-time work. I can take care of young babies, as well as toddlers and older children. I have studied Creative Writing in Cegep and English Literature in University. I am currently taking a Doula certification program online and am interested in learning more on the Montessori method of education.
