I’m Vern :) I’m 24 and am currently working towards my Master of Arts in Ethnomusicology. I graduated from Acadia University in 2020 with a Bachelor in Music Therapy. Music, arts, and nature deeply inspire me, and I am devoted to creating immersive and educational experiences for children. This passion was cultivated during my 7 years of experience working with children in summer camps and babysitting roles.
I bring with me the ability to work with children across a vast age range, from newborns to those over 10 years old. I am well-versed in providing care for children with disabilities. I am open to performing a variety of duties, including cooking, light housekeeping, preparing meals for kids, and taking care of children's laundry.
I offer a wide availability, encompassing mornings, middays, and evenings from Mondays to Thursdays, as well as during the weekends. Due to my studies and commitments, I am seeking a part-time position with a maximum of two children.
Additionally, I hold a driving license, and I have a car available to use on the job, facilitating efficient commuting. I am a non-smoker who enjoys swimming, and I am well prepared to face any emergencies that can come up, thanks to my CPR and First Aid Training. Please note that I am prepared to obtain police check clearance if required.
I am available to start immediately, bringing my love, energy, and expertise into your home, creating a safe and fun environment for your children :)
