Hi, my name is Anna. I would describe myself as a creative and active person who loves to be outdoors. I have a college degree in graphic design and work part time in my profession. During the other half of my work day I prefer to do more active and engaging things like being with kids and exploring outdoors. I have a 7 year old daughter and my partners 12 year old son. We live an active, mindful and balanced lifestyle with focus on our physical and mental well-being. I moved from Germany to Canada in 2009 and speak English and German. Before I became a mother I nannied in my community in Nanaimo for several years. Today I volunteer in our children’s learning cooperative and Nanny a couple days a week. I feel at home with the Waldorf concept and nature based learning. I have my drivers license and my own car. I am also happy to take over household chores like doing the dishes or laundry. I enjoy being creative with the kids and like to draw, paint, do yoga and dance with them. I also believe spending time outside in nature is very important. I am patient and supporting, making kids feel safe, but also encourage them to learn and develop their individuality and personality.

My last Nany positions was with one 2.5 year old. We spend the mornings together exploring in nature, playing outdoors, doing arts and crafts, baking and reading books. I also have my own 7 year child I take care off.
