I am just setting up this page and I am more than happy to provide more details in person. I am originally from Germany, been in Canada a bit over a year now. I enjoy outdoor activities in my free time like hiking, kajaking, climbing, mtb etc. But I am also very happy just to be outside and enjoy reading or sitting somewhere on the water.

I enjoy working with children and youth and I'd be happy to support your family. I expecially like to be outside and enjoy teaching kids about nature through play. It's great to work with children and see the spark in their eyes when they learn something new :). I am also happy to support the elderly in your family. Also have lots of experience with different other activities such as arts and crafts or teaching sports to children. I am here since 1, 5 years, manly BC and Alberta but happy to work anywhere in Canada. I have a BC driving license and transportation. I would love to talk about everything in person, but here's a short overview of some relevant jobs: - social worker by profession (German background but fluent in English and been working in different bilingual settings and overseas) - 13 years of working as a volunteer with children and youth in an environmental organisation organizing and supervising camps and leading regular children's groups and lots of activities (ages 6-20) - 4 years working in a bilingual kindergarten and elementary school (German /English) in different positions + occasionally helping out in the nursery 1. Educator: One year establishing a new kindergarten group from arranging the room to starting routines and supervising the children In addition I worked in the after school care program supporting homework and activities 2. Group leader after school care program : establishing a new group, supervising children in the after school care program, organising and supervising holiday programs, homework and activities + supporting teachers in the classroom 3. Leader of the after school care program: leader responsibilities plus working as an educator and group leader 4. Also helping out in the other kindergarten groups plus in the nursery and teaching sports for the kindergarten and school kids - about 1 year working in an outdoor after school care program as an educator - 1 year beeing a team member in a integrative kindergarten group as an intern - several woofing and workaway volunteer experiences helping out on farms (gardening, woodwork, work around the house etc. ) and with childcare and homework I also have experience working on farms (alpacas, sheep, horses, chicken, ducks) /house/dog and cat sitting and been working on different farms and a cattle station in Canada and Australia. I can supply references from within Canada as well. I don't smoke and I am fully vaccinated. I have some first aid courses including outdoor first aid, but they are all a little back so I would refresh these. I am reliable, attentive to details, emphatic, caring and open minded. I love travelling and enjoy meeting new people and good conversations as well as everything outdoors. I worked with children with ADHS and some other special needs. I also have a children /youth sport training certificate (which is not valid right now since I am not in Germany, however, I have the training).
