Hello! My name is Sydney, I am a 20-year-old VIU student who lives in Nanaimo. I have 8 years of childcare experience and a class 5 driver's license. I have always loved working with kids. I am a very active person, I love to hike, ski, mountain bike, and travel. I strongly believe that outdoor education is essential for kids and I would love to opportunity to take the kids I work with on little adventures! I have experience working as a biking instructor, so if needed I can teach kids to ride their bikes without training wheels or learn the rules of the road. I am also a very creative person, I do a lot of drawing and photography in my free time, but I also go to school to study art and media. I love experimenting with different mediums and have experience teaching kids to do the same! I would love to have a part-time nanny job during the school year while I take classes at VIU. I have a lot of experience working with kids, I am currently a Senior Rec Leader for the Regional District of Nanaimo and I am looking for more hours in childcare work.
