Greeting each day with gratitude, life becomes a delight, a JOY. I have a big heart and have an easy natural rapport with children. I love their candid, honest, playful nature, and just how darn perceptive they are at an early age! I am genuine, fun loving, interactive, kind, respectful, down to earth, easy going but also know when to establish healthy boundaries with kids if/when needed. I am patient, calm but cheerful, compassionate, encouraging, nurturing, with a great sense of humour and play time just comes easy! I am health conscious, and normally very active, (I played competitive tennis until I injured my knee a few years ago) so now I just skip to the beach to swim everyday instead... no not in winter but almost! The local kids ask, are you a mermaid ? I keep a clean, tidy house and love all animals too. Children are a gift ~ deserving of a bright, positive, loving environment, all of which brings a humble joy to my heart to be a part of :-)

I was blessed to be a hands on step parent for 5 years, caring for 2 amazing children during their formative years, from the ages 5 - 10 years old. I was their primary care giver with a one week on/off rotation during the shchool year, and full time care giver for several consecutive weeks during the summer. We had lots of fun! I also have experience as a live-in nanny for a wonderful 9 year old boy during a time when his mother was recieiving cancer treatment and I'm happy to say that they are both doing very well.
