My name is Danielle , most people call me Dani, and I'm a university student looking for a summer job with a wonderful family! I come from a big, loud Middle Eastern family, and I enjoy spending time with them and my friends, singing and playing my piano and guitar, going to the gym and going for walks, trying new restaurants, going to church, and watching movies. I absolutely LOVE working with children of all ages; as seen on my profile, I worked as a kid's summer camp counsellor for 4 summers and, despite the hectic environment and huge amount of responsibility, I enjoyed every minute of it. However, I'm also very experienced with working in professional environments, such as in a medical clinic and pharmacy (a job that also made me VERY equipped to deal with those nasty summer colds kids are so prone to). I've always been described by friends as outgoing, friendly, and creative, and my past employers have called me trustworthy, hardworking, and a very fast learner. I have worked as a summer camp leader at Hope Oakville for 4 summers, wherein I have been responsible for caring for groups of up to 20 children (at one time) from ages 4 to 12. Responsibilities have included arranging and guiding children through various activities (i.e. sports, arts and crafts, etc), monitoring snack and lunchtimes, teaching various curriculums, and building strong relationships with each child and their parents.
