My name is Jenni and I moved to Orillia about a year and a half ago. I originally moved here from Oshawa, Ontario, for university, but have since decided that that is not the path for me. My goal is to continue to work with children, whether that be in a classroom or another setting, as I love working with young children and enjoy being able to help them grow. I enjoy photography and occasionally painting or any form of art. I also really enjoy playing sports such as volleyball, ultimate frisbee, tennis, and so much more. I believe it is incredibly important for children to have a strong support system and people who will help them grow, reach their full potential, and allow them to explore their interests and curiosities. I would love to be a part of that support system for your child/children. I hope to hear from you soon!

I have over 5 years of volunteer experience working with children. From 2017-2021, I volunteered at my church in Oshawa in the children's ministry and helped with children ages 2-12. In 2019, I volunteered at the church's summer camp with children ages 3-14. I most recently have babysat for multiple families, including an 8-month-old, 16-month-old, 2-year-old, two 4-year-olds, and an 8-year-old! I have loved getting to see them all grow and explore their own interests and curiosities. I believe I have benefitted just as much from these experiences as they have. It has been the true test of patience, understanding, adapting, and growing. I personally grew up going to a babysitter, and I believe that experience has given me a perspective and understanding that not everyone has. I understand the importance of having someone who genuinely cares for the child/children in their care as I experienced that firsthand.

I am currently taking a break from University as I figure out what I'm truly passionate about and want to pursue!
