I'm Melissa, and I am a child and youth care graduate. I had my placement at the YMCA where I worked with children varying in age from 2 to 13 years old. As well as has experience later on with 8 months to 1 year old. I am high energy and fun, but also very patient. I like to invent creative and crafty activities for the kids, while also being able to be firm when necessary, as well as attend to the needs of the children and the responsibilities given to me. I also like to make new and exciting meals/snacks, that are both appetizing for kids, and healthy! I don't mind occasionally arranging meals/snacks that the kids can help prepare as an activity and learning opportunity. Lastly, I don't mind housework or other house duties that need to be attended to that will make your life easier (e.g. Organizing, Meal Prep etc) My availability currently is after 4:30pm during the week perfect for date nights or other commitments. As well as weekends anytime. However I am looking for a full time position for summer only. This would start after July 6th until Labor day.
