Hello, I'm Mahima, studying Early Childhood Education at Durham College. I'm originally from Nepal and an international student passionate about child care. My family is filled with educators who instilled in me a love for intellectual curiosity, creativity, and resilience. I have a diverse background and a year of firsthand experience in nurturing children.
I'm available for part-time employment, preferably in a live-out arrangement. My availability spans across several days and hours, particularly in the middle of the day and evenings during Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday. I'm also available for Wednesday afternoons.
My passion lies in playing and interacting with children while providing conscientious, authentic, and adaptive learning experiences to enhance their growth. In particular, I enjoy working with toddlers aged 1-2, though I am flexible and can adapt to your child's personal needs. I can offer services such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, children's laundry, bathing and dressing your child, aiding with their homework, and even organizing child-friendly events.
To ensure your child's safety and wellbeing, I've undergone CPR and First Aid Training and can provide a police check upon your request. Though I am a non-native English speaker, I am fluent and comfortable in communicating in English.
I appreciate your time reading about me and look forward to the opportunity to be your child's caring and dependable nanny. Thank you.
