I am Melanie, a passionate 19-year-old soon turning 20, with a high school diploma. I may not have formal post-secondary education plans yet, but I am absolutely certain, however, that my eagerness to work and progress in a field where I find joy and fulfillment makes me a perfect fit for any demanding housekeeping/child/pet care/personal assistant role. I have always had a natural inclination towards keeping things organized, together with a love for performing general cleaning and tidying up tasks. I am meticulous in nature and take pride in keeping spaces neat, clean, and comfortable. This preference for tidiness also extends to other areas, such as rotational management of wardrobe and pantry, ensuring orderliness and eliminating excess and out-of-date items. Beyond cleaning and organizing, I am also capable of executing household chores including simple cooking, serving, grocery shopping, and running errands. I have a limited experience with but am comfortable with learning and expanding my professional experience with assuming the role of a personal assistant, managing travel arrangements, planning special events, and coordinating with tradesmen and contractors. Based on my previous experience in babysitting, I am more than prepared to undertake duties related to child care which involves feeding, bathing, arranging fun activities, and overall babysitting tasks. I fully grasp the importance of routines and structure in a child's life and have the ability to enforce them effectively. Overall I love kids caring for others. I am also capable of caring for pets as i have grown up caring for my large breed dogs, budgies/finch birds, dwarf bunnies, fish and small turtles. (I am a HUGE dog and animal lover however I have allergies to cats so i prefer a house without, but i have been able to manage the allergies around them with my friends/families cats). I am seeking full time or part time employment as a housekeeper, personal assistant, nanny or an animal care role. I am currently residing in Orleans and can start from April 16, 2024, however I have a planned 2 week trip April 29-May 16. I am flexible and available to work throughout the weekdays - from Monday to Friday, morning, mid-day, or evening. I prefer working in a live-out arrangement with daytime based shifts but am open to occasional evenings if necessary. I have a G2 license however my vehicle is not solely my own as i live with and share the vehicle with my family in Orleans so required personal transportation for jobs with errands/pick-up and drop-off tasks will have to be further discussed. My commitment to work, combined with my love for organization/caring for children and animals and the desire to create a pleasant environment, makes me an ideal candidate for any position. I enjoy caring for kids, however i do ave limited experience with them in a professional setting as i've only done brief casual work caring for children i am not related to. I grew up with loads of neices and nephews all multiple years younger than me so ive matured with plenty of babysitting experience on that front, unfortunately only a small amount with more professional non familial settings last year. Ive helped care for my youngest niece most recently, since she was born in late 2017 so I have recent experience with children aged 1-5. I enjoy cleaning, mainly organising but the satisfaction of cleaning in general. I have limited cleaning experience other than growing up with household chores like cleaning toilets, vacuuming, dishes, and dusting etc but I am willing to expand that experience in a professional setting. I am a neat freak and absolutely adore organising (I actually volunteer myself to clean out and organize friends' houses ) whether it be cupboards/pantries or bedrooms and closets I am always looking for something to reorganise! I am a huge dog lover and would honestly prefer if you had a dog i could care for on top of other duties!

Above i list 5 years as my experience duration however the work has been quite casual within the years. I have grown up alongside older brothers and sisters who had 7 kids of their own that i learned to babysit from a young age (newborn nieces/nephews up to age 10) and have only done brief babysitting with children whom i am not related to (friends of friends children for e.g) aged 2-10 since 2023 (casual work)
