I live and grew up in beautiful Squamish BC. I have been in the restaurant industry for the past 12 years. I was laid off in March due to the pandemic and I am taking an online EA course. I have 5 nephews ages 6 through 13. I lived with my sister and her 3 boys for several years and assisted with daycare and school pick-up/drop-off often. I love children and I have a lot of experience with all ages. I studied holistic nutrition and can work with allergies/sensitivities. I love making nutritious snacks for the kids and putting healthy spins on their favourites. I love being outside and family pets are not a problem since I am also an animal lover. I was a professional cleaner for many years so I would be a great fit for a mommy helper. Thank you for your consideration.
I have no professional experience, however, I’ve helped with my sister’s 5 children for the past 11 years. I have cared for my friend’s children as well. I worked in an orphanage for 2 months in Cambodia in 2011 and the age range was newborn to 4. There were some older children with cerebral palsy that I also had a large role in caring for. I would like to eventually take the education assistant course and work in the school system. I am very nurturing and compassionate which is crucial when caring for children. Lots of love and laughter. I know all families are different and respect their style of parenting. I think it’s important to encourage them and be a positive role model.
I graduated high school in Squamish BC. I went to school in Vancouver at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. I am a certified nutritional practitioner. I have not yet taken a first aid course but am willing to
