My name is Sruthy Chandra, and I am a passionate and experienced childcare provider based in St. John's. I have a genuine love for children and bring a unique blend of creativity, responsibility, and understanding to each caregiving opportunity.
Having cared for my younger siblings from infancy to their current ages of 7 and 2, I've developed a keen understanding of children's needs over the years. My experiences have helped me develop patience and adaptability, as I comfortably manage children of various ages and personalities. Coming from a family-oriented background, I also understand the importance of fostering connections and effective communication, and I'm known for promoting seamless collaboration with parents.
In addition to my responsibility as a nanny, my diverse range of hobbies allows me to engage children in a variety of activities. Whether it's solving math problems, playing the guitar, exploring exciting stories in books, or expressing our creativity through dance, I ensure an engaging and holistic experience for each child under my care. Besides, I am also passionate about cooking and baking, and I love introducing children to the joys of delicious, homemade treats.
I am available for part-time work and can start immediately. My hours are flexible as I'm available in the evenings and nights on week days, and throughout the day on weekends. I'm comfortable performing a wide variety of duties such as cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, preparing meals for kids, children's laundry, helping with homework, and even pet care.
I have completed First Aid Training, CPR Training, and hold a High School degree. I can work with children with disabilities and have experience caring for newborns up to children aged 10 years and above. However, I prefer working with a maximum of two children at a time.
I am excited to use my skills and experience to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for your children. Looking forward to getting to know your family!
