My name is Mellissa and I am 18 years old. I’ve been babysitting, doing housework and cooking for kids for 6 years. Something special about caregiving is how much it teaches you and shapes you. Though I am 18, I feel like I’ve absorbed and learned from everything around me. I turn everything into a life lesson and I get to be a better person. Being around kids has taught me, self control, gentleness (especially tone), compassion, and simply patience (you know this). I’ve been a babysitter and a cleaner. I done this at both my home and the houses I’ve babysat in, some in Jamaica.
