Hello! My name is Abigail, a nurturing and caring 25-year-old woman living in Mitchell. I have a deep-rooted passion for children and have spent over 3 years professionally working with them. From babysitting at an early age to volunteering in churches, my journey so far has been filled with lots of love, learning, and laughter. Along the way, I've developed a knack for coming up with creative and engaging activities for children. I am trained in looking after children, aged between 1 to 9 years, and pride myself on being able to manage up to three children at a time. My skills are not limited to child care though. I can perform a variety of household duties like cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, and even pet care, to ensure a well-managed home environment. I prioritize safety and well-being of children under my care. I prefer the flexibility of a live-out, part-time arrangement, and am generally available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during mornings and the middle of the day. I hold a driver's license and have a vehicle that I am willing to use on the job. While I'm unable to relocate or travel for work, I am able to transport children safely and comfortably when necessary. Although I don't have children of my own, I have a natural ability to connect, educate, and develop relationships with the children I look after, making our time together beneficial and enjoyable. Please note that my experience does not extend to children with disabilities. As a responsible and organized individual, I am willing to obtain a police check for peace of mind and can adhere to special dietary rules for children. My education extends to a college degree, I am fluent in English, and hold Canadian citizenship. In essence, I am not just looking for a job as a nanny or a nanny/housekeeper; I am looking for a wonderful family to become a part of. I have had 2 previous nanny positions, all with kids between the ages of 3-7. These were both full time positions that involved getting the kids ready for the day, taking them to school & recreational activities, helping with homework, cleaning the house and preparing dinner for the family.
