My name is Kristy and I am a 41 year old female and mother of one 6 year old son. I am currently on a new path of switching careers and realizing after all my years in the hospitality industry (LCBO) I wished I had taken the ECE program in college. I want to be a positive role model for children. I am very passionate about kindness, manners and being good to one another. I want to be taking part in society for the good. Taking care of children and teaching them at these younger years is so important I think.

I have my NLS (National Lifeguard Certification) I worked with children as a guard for many years as well as babysitting as a teenager. My grandmother had a home daycare as I was growing up and I stayed with her over the years and helped out a lot. I also have a son of my own who just turned 6 and 3 stepdaughters who are 6, 10, 12. I am looking for a change in careers and I’m planning on taking the ECE program at the college down the road. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for many years and realized now at 41 I wish I was working with kids. I’m passionate about kindness and being good to one another as I am trying to raise my children this way. Thanks, Kristy
