My name is Povalpreet, and I am a proud native of the beautiful country of India. Currently, I am furthering my academic pursuits at Northern College, an outstanding institution that offers me the opportunity to advance my knowledge and expertise in various disciplines. Thus far, I've committed a full year to the study of Early Childhood Education, dedicating my time and energy to this complex and rewarding field of study. However, in the pursuit of expanding my academic horizons and widening the scope of my educational background, I have recently made the decision to change my course of study. I am now focusing on the comprehensive field of General Arts and Science. This discipline will allow me to amalgamate the knowledge I accrued from my previous course with an eclectic mix of new subjects. Parallel to my educational journey, I am also employed at Walmart. This job offers me not only financial independence but also enhances my practical skills and knowledge, which supplements my theoretical education. It also provides an excellent platform to better my skills and contribute to the community. Besides academics and work, I have several activities that I delight in during my leisure time. Dancing and singing are two of the artistic mediums I particularly enjoy. They enable me to express my creativity and enthusiasm for performing arts. Additionally, I also have a passion for gardening which allows me to connect with nature. Lastly, I adore travelling as it broadens my understanding of the world and introduces me to new cultures. In terms of my personal abilities, I am confident about my robust interpersonal and communication skills. I believe the ability to connect and communicate effectively with diverse sets of people is crucial in today's global community, and I am glad I possess these skills in abundance. Family is one of my top priorities, and talking about them brings immense joy. I consider myself lucky to still have my loving mother, my supportive brother and my caring sister all residing in our home country, India. It means a lot to me to have their continuous support and love as I navigate through life.
