As an early childhood assistant (ECA), I support the lead Early Childhood Educator (ECE) in providing care, education, and support to young children. I work under the supervision of ECEs to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes children's holistic development. Duties and Responsibilities include: Assisting with Curriculum Implementation - Support the lead ECE in implementing age-appropriate curriculum activities and educational programs designed to enhance children's development. - Assist in planning and organizing learning experiences that address the cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical needs of children. - Engage children in play-based learning activities and encourage their curiosity, exploration, and creativity. Providing Care and Supervision: - Assist with the daily care routines, including feeding, diapering, toileting, and nap time, following established health and safety protocols. - Supervise children indoors and outdoors to ensure their safety and well-being, while promoting independence and self-help skills. - Respond promptly to children's needs, inquiries, and conflicts, providing guidance, support, and encouragement as appropriate.
