Hello! My name is Rosette.  I have been a Nanny for well over ten years and have loved every moment. Prior to my work as a Nanny I had a career in science - a Molecular Biologist to be exact. I worked in research for nearly two decades, first in neuroscience then in influenza, but have been away from the field for over a decade. In that time I decided to return to being a Nanny, something I had done quite a bit in my younger years. In many respects I found it more rewarding than my work in science. I am an American, originally from New York, and hold dual American and Canadian citizenship. I love to be outdoors, near the water, love to swim, and when I get a chance, scuba dive. I have been on a "sabbatical" to tend to family health matters, but now that all is well I am eager to get back to work. I'm hoping to find a family that I can grow with and for whom I can become a reliable and supportive caregiver. I am warm, friendly and outgoing, careful and precise, and absolutely adore babies - hence the return to childcare.  I have worked with several families caring for children starting at the newborn stage, often starting with a young family with their first and staying with them as the family grows. It is a privileged and wonderful thing to watch a family grow and to be a part of it. I remain close with all my families I and consider them all family. I can provide a myriad of both personal and professional references, have been certified in CPR and First Aid with the Red Cross, am able to drive in the US and Canada, and am willing to travel.
