I'm Andie, a 27-year-old currently looking for a part-time Nanny, Nanny/Housekeeper, or Babysitter Role. I recently moved to Whistler after spending the past 7 months living in Banff on a working holiday visa from Perth, Australia. I found my passion for childcare in my large Greek family and it grew stronger when I volunteered for support programs like Uni Camp for Kids. With activities and experiences, we strived to shine some light into the lives of underprivileged children, this journey profoundly shaped my character and my approach to childcare. Apart from this, I regularly babysat my cousins, ranging from 3-12 years old, and occasionally babysat for work colleagues and family friends too.
I am a proactive, hands-on nanny ready to take on a variety of duties such as cooking, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, preparing meals, transporting children, helping with homework, keeping the kitchen tidy, pet care, and even event planning. I derive joy from helping children grow in a clean, organized, and fun-filled environment.
Availability wise, I am very flexible right now, as I do not have any seasonal work commencing until mid-late November. From then onwards, I will have part time hours available which I can work around my other roles. I am primarily seeking a live-out arrangement and can lend a helping hand immediately. My capacity allows me to comfortably take care of up to three children, ideally within the 3-12 years age range.
When I'm not working, I enjoy snowboarding, engaging with animals, reading, and nurturing my budding passion for digital art. I have successfully completed my Bachelor's Degree and have my high school equivalency.
I have worked for 7 years with a children’s charity which cares for underprivileged children between the ages of 4-12. Each year we had multiple fun days out, and an annual week long camp. I have also had multiple causal cash in hand babysitting jobs for friends and family back home, for children ranging from 2-11 years of age, and up to 3 children at a time comfortably.
