I have been trained in Early Childhood Education and have my Ontario and British Columbia ECE diploma. I have been trained on the YMCA Playing to learn Curriculum, and took part in creating training videos for this curriculum, I have also had the opportunity to take part in Building Resiliency In Children training, High Scope Curriculum Training, and The Hannon Learning Language Training. I also worked at the Whistler Children's Centre as the Head Teacher of the Periwinkle classroom for the past 3 years and as the Program Coordinator for several months. I have two wonderful boys Hayden 6 years who is in grade 1 and Hunter 10 m and a fantastic Husband Doug. After spending Maternity leave with my boys at home I realised that my passion was to be able to spend more time with my children and a smaller group of children in my home, so that I could have more one on one time with the children in my care and provide a high quality learning environment.
