I am looking for a part time caregiver for my 64 year old epileptic mother. She is incontinent and disabled (only has use of one hand) with mobility issues- usually in a wheelchair. We are looking for part time care while we search for a suitable assisted living facility for her. Duties would include: Helping change her diaper if needed Bathing/showers/ hygiene Taking her out to activities/ doctor's appointments (must have your own car) Light housework- cleaning and meals She can be pretty self sufficient, has recently been able to transfer herself to the bed and toilet but is still prone to falling. Some of her hobbies include: music writing poetry painting/drawing with crayons This will be a good fit if you are a kind, empathetic, and patient person. Must be bondable and have references. Schedule is flexible and can be changed if needed to meet your availability although number of hours would remain the same.
