We are looking for Senior Care for our father/husband who we are bringing home from Long Term Care and to return to living in his own home in Tuscany NW. Couple lives together but it is the husband only needing the assistance. His mobility is limited. He does have Lewy Body Dementia. Must be a dependable, strong, compassionate and reliable individual with the required skills and empathy to handle the demands of caring for a our father/husband at home. We are open to finding being flexible with one or two care workers who can fulfill the shifts outlined below. We are also open to a live-in arrangement for the right person. Ideally we are looking for: • Waking up / Daytime shift - 7am to 4pm Evening Bedtime Prep / Overnight care - 8pm to 6am We won’t always require overnight care on weekends. We are open to some flexibility on times/days available. Primary Requirements: • Ability to follow Care Plan • Assistance waking up • Changing / undergarment / diaper change • Bed Transfer (we have a medical bed) into wheelchair or assist to walker and help walk to bathroom / living room • Dressing • Toiletting / Shower / Shaving / Brushing teeth • Linen change of bed • Watching for episodes of incontinence - thorough and properly cleaning after incidents • Help with his daily physical work outs / exercises / stretching / massaging Monitoring so he does not get up by himself or walk by himself • Meet the safety needs and use equipment safely and properly • Minimal housekeeping and laundry No Cooking required Please contact with professional resume and availability if interested.
