My father is an elderly man (79). He is a stroke survivor and has had many medical issues that include Type 2 diabetes (managed), prostate cancer (remission), some cognitive barriers and memory loss. My father is South American/Canadian and is fluent in Spanish and English. He has a wonderful, warm and loving personality. He has a great sense of humour. He needs lots of patience, kindness and support. I mainly need help with housekeeping and some hygiene support for my dad. He would also benefit from community outings and walks for fresh air. He uses a walker and will need his wheelchair for long distances. He loves thrift stores, grocery stores and parks. The ideal person will have a driver's license but it is not a deal breaker.
