Part-time, live-in/live-out care position in a family setting caring for an 87-year-old man. Looking for someone willing to assist with meal prep/feeding support, toileting, and transferring (using Sara Stedy sit-to-stand lift) during the day. Hours per day can be flexible within 10am-7pm timeframe. Minimum requirement of 3 weeks and specifically looking for someone for July. Opportunity for longer term, extra training, and more hours or responsibilities if applicant is a good fit. Our loved-one (Dad/Grandpa) has a history of strokes, decreased mobility, impaired hearing and vision, and some memory deficit. We live on a beautiful piece of land 20 minutes from the city, and we keep 3 dogs and a garden. Our loved-one's caregiver would be welcome to be involved in gardening and animal care if they desired.
