Need a part time caregiver for my sweet, loving Mom 3 days a week, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm 4-5 hours a day. She lives at home in Ville st.Laurent, diagnosed with Alzheimer’s a few years ago. At a minimum we need Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and possibly some afternoons . My Mom is 87, speaks Italian /French, has an outgoing personality, engages in activities, very personable, great story teller. Enjoys walk in the park, her garden flowers, art, aquarelle, word searches, reading. She is very charming, sweet and loving, extremely neat, clean and organized despite her dementia. She is loved by her caregivers !! Ideal candidate is trustworthy, speaks French, Italian is a great plus, has 5 years experience with dementia/Alzheimer’s and able to assume the following primary responsibilities : stimulation activities, companionship, light exercises as outlined by her physiotherapist, outdoor walks, prepare bi-weekly grocery order and putting groceries away when delivered, meal preparation, assist with personal care, and other activities as needed. Light housekeeping, Housekeeping is managed by a cleaning company. We have a structured daily routine that works very well and keeps things simple. Must be Comfortable working in a setting with camera surveillance.
