-Assists patient with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting (incontinence), transferring, activities, exercise, medications and meals according to an individualized care plan.
-Experience in neurocognitive impairment and dementia.
-Verifies patient blood glucose levels each morning.
-Assists patient with medication as defined in medication procedure; follows medication policies and procedures.
-Maintains patients’ records daily in a timely manner.
-Assists patient to eat a proper diet and take adequate fluids.
-Assists patient in activities provided in the individualized care plan.
-Assists patient in exercises provided in the individualized care plan.
-Reports any changes in patients' physical condition and/or behaviour to the supervisor.
-Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for the patient.
-Follows proper procedures in emergency situations and responds promptly and positively to patient and/or supervisor requests for assistance.
-Asset: CPR certification
-Must be pet-friendly (cat).
-Must be comfortable with home video surveillance.
Hours: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, and Sat from 8:00am to 2:00pm
