We need a caring woman who can help out for a few hours a week. Light housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathroom and kitchen, laundry. Supervision and some assistance with eating and drinking. Our mom is in the last stages of Alzheimer’s and we just want to provide a peaceful, caring environment for her last months by keeping her in her own home. There is a Hoyer lift (which we can easily train carer to use), hospital bed, wheelchair. She needs incontinence care and possibly sponge baths. Her suite is in the lower level of her primary caregiver’s home (her daughter). They have a friendly Lab but the suite has a separate entry if you are afraid of dogs. Someone in Okotoks or nearby is preferred. Scheduled days are for example - but afternoon care is a MUST. We can be more flexible on the days of the week
