My mother will be 79 years young in October 2023. She is a lovely lady—kind and positive. She can shower on her own, but might need help organizing her clothes; she has a tendency to put her dirty clothes away instead of placing them in the hamper if not carefully watched. However, she does try her best. We have a little Yorkie named Freddie who simply adores Grandma and the two of them spend a lot of time on the couch watching country music videos or movies. Mom enjoys doing puzzles and is up for anything. My job is demanding, hence I need someone special to come into our home and liven up the house for mom when I can't be there. Her world is limited, so I strive for her to continue having a fun and engaging daily lifestyle, as she absolutely deserves it. It would be fantastic if you could cook and bake, but I’m not primarily looking for a housekeeper—I manage to keep a clean house. I am in search of a caring individual with a beautiful soul to join our family and be a comfortable presence for our dear sweet mother/grandmother. I have a son who lives with me; he's in grade 12 and he's amazing, and a 20-year-old daughter who lives in BC with her dad. We travel back and forth sometimes between our AB and BC homes. There would be times when I'd love the freedom to go away without worrying about my mom or have the occasional night out without having to bring her. This concept is new to us, as we have never had anyone come to provide help before.
