My mother came to live with us from the UK nearly 3 years ago when her husband died. She walks with a walker and has had a few falls recently. She has short term memory loss and can get confused. She is with me for up to 6 weeks at a time and then goes for the same length of time to my sister's in Orangeville. I cannot leave her alone and when my husband travels ( which he does often) I would like someone to be here in the house with my Mum for a few hours occasionally so I could go and get groceries or have a break and play pickle ball.! Some of the time she would be asleep and other times she would just need someone to sit and chat or watch TV with her . Maybe in time she would need help with showering ( I do this right now)
