As the condition progresses, we recognize the need for specialized care and support tailored to enhance David's quality of life while allowing our family to maintain a sense of balance. Job Summary: Key Responsibilities: Provide personalized support to an individual with Alzheimer's disease, including assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication reminders. Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance the well-being of our loved one. Maintain a clean and safe environment, including light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the overall well-being of the client. Qualifications: Previous experience in caregiving, hospice care, nursing home, or similar roles is preferred. Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Capacity to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. Job Status: Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours/week Salary: $23.00/hour Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, Overtime and weekends as needed Working Conditions: The Home Support Work will be working at our home. This position may require some evening and weekend work, as well as occasional off-site duties, such as accompanying seniors to the hospital.
