My 21 yr old son is a gentle easy going young man who enjoys the company of others. He’s on the autism spectrum and although he is mostly nonverbal, he is aware and perceptive. He follows instructions and is able to read as well. He’s such a good guy, at times, so tender & affectionate. He enjoys a variety of healthy food. This position also requires an attentive individual who is able to read the emotional and physical needs and challenges of this young man (as he doesn’t verbalize his needs or feelings). This awareness can help in planning or curtailing activities . A good fit includes an energetic, upbeat positive, and enthusiastic mindset.
