I am from the Philippines and came here in Canada 1987, as a care giver/nanny, since then till now I still work as nanny even to the fact that am here for that long I still work in the same industry because I love working with kids. The families that I have work since I came and the rest of them till now I still have contact with them coz they were like a family to me as they have consider me as family as well. Am not married but am happy of being single, that way keep me out from trouble, just kidding, in nature am very outspoken person, loving, caring and easy to get along with. when it come to dislike; I do not have anything I dislike not in particular way. But character wise I do not like people who do not do what the say they are coz for me a good relationship will go a long way if their is honesty and truth in it. At my age now, just want stay home when I do not have work, love to cook am not good cook but I can follow the recipe. So am looking for family that I can work with, one that accept they way I am because when I work I work hard and give the best I can and most of all I give my love and care and thats the best asset I can provide for the family I work with. Working with the elderly people depend on the situation of the person who we look after. My experiences with elderly were; Making meal, doing their laundry, assisting them taking a bath, doing the grocery, Administering medication by the deriction of the employer ( patient childrens/ family) total care like looking after of your own parent. In other word , I do my best to give the care and attention/ help that my employer asked me to do. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I also have experience working with special need childrens.
