I began my career working with seniors 15 years ago as a health care aide in a long term care facility and then I went back to school to obtain my PSW certificate. I discovered that I had a passion for working with seniors with a dementia related illness and I left the nursing home to work at an Alzheimer Adult Day Program. I continued my education in the field of Recreation Management for Older Adults as well in order to gain more knowledge of how to provide meaningful programs for seniors. I currently work full time in a doctor office but I miss working directly with seniors.
