Hi my name is Marie Sofie and I have lived here in Quebec for soon 5 years now. I am from Sweden but moved here after I married my husband who already lived here. I have over 3 years of experience as a nanny here in Quebec. I have worked with children between 7 month to 12 years. I also have one of the best experiences you can have, motherhood. I became a mother in early 2019 and since then I have learned a lot about infants and small babies. In Sweden, I am a registered nurse. I have great experience to work with youth, adults, elderly but also children with psychiatric disabilities and health issues and with other special needs, both psychiatric and physical. I am a very responsible and reliable person, I will manage my duties in a very good way. I will be on time and take care of your children/elderly/client with a safe and warm hand. Also, I have a final grade in a High School program of Child Care and Recreation, specialized in Leadership from Sweden. Within the church I belong to, I am volunteering as a leader and teacher for youth between 12-18 years old. Before this I have also volunteered in church as a Sunday school teacher for children between 4-11 years old and in the nursery for children between 18 month to 3 years old. Almost all my free time Is centered around my little family (my husband and baby), we love playing and learning new things together and being outside on walks. I have great experience to work with elderly with both psychiatric disabilities and health issues and with other special needs. I worked many years with elderly in their own homes and in special homes for the elderly before I toke my exam to be a Nurse. I helped them with everything they needed under the days every hour. After I became a nurse I also worked and come in contact with with elderly almost every workday. Please feel free to ask me questions about my years in my profession taking care of the elderly. I also have great experience as a nurse taking care of and helping adults both young and older with special needs and psychiatric health issues. I have worked in different psychiatric departments at hospitals. Also I had a work where people with everything from severe depression to schizophrenia could call for help and support, to this also belonged home visits.
