I am married and a mother of 4 children who are out of town pursuing academic and sports careers. I was a Special Education teacher for 25 years and have recently retired. I am physically active, enjoy the outdoors, and live a healthy lifestyle. I was a stay at home mom for 5 years until my children were all in school, and ran a curriculum based preschool from my home during this time. I love children and have an abundance of experience, both through raising my own, and through my career as a teacher. I helped my mother take care of my elderly father until he passed away in our family home. I am flexible in my availability and am looking to help out a young family, as this was always appreciated when I was a mother. I am CPR and First Aid qualified. I have a current police clearance (vulnerable sector screening). I look forward to hearing from anyone who feels I might be a good fit with their family, and who thinks I might assist in meeting their needs.
