My name is Kathryn, I am originally from the States. I am offering my time with a smile, positive attuitide and a great compassion for people of all ages, races, religious beliefs and all walks of life. I am open minded and non judgemental. I love helping people, from the young to the elderly. I feel people are so busy these days it's difficult to give 100 of their time to their children or an elderly parent. Some Family's just need to help, some assistance or even a break. I offer companionship, guidance, acceptance, an open mind, listening ears and a heart of gold. I feel that being a caregiver is more than a job, it's a special relationship between everyone involved. I look forward to meeting you and your love ones. I am the proud Mother of 2 Children. They live on their own, independent, and confident. Being a Parent has gifted my Family with a mutual unconditional love. This love that was developed through trust and honesty. Realizing the value of people and life itself. We all need love, we all need to be understood and we all need someone to listen. Love is not just a word, love is in your heart and needs to be cared for and nurtured. I was fortunate to be able to stay at home while raising my Children, and worked various cleaning jobs when they became school age. Before relocating to Canada, I worked for several years as a personal assistant. My responsibilities included cleaning his home, scheduling appointments, light yard duty, pet sitting, house sitting, organizing, shopping, light alterations, among several other duties. I became like Family, a genuine bond was made. I am honest, dependable, trustworthy and a hard worker. I offer a positive outlook on life. I enjoy spreading my sunshine helping to make others happy. I feel your loved one would benefit from my energy as I would benefit from them, no matter what the age or title. A Nanny, Caregiver, Sitter or Companion. I am getting used to the area. The care I have given over the years has been with my Family. I am grateful that I have been able to help my Grandfather through his many years of Cancer. Sadly Cancer got him anyway. My great aunt, a wonderful lady, allowed me the pleasure of keeping me company for many years. I was there as she took her last breath, unknowingly she was ate up with cancer. My mother has gone through hip surgeries, back issues, and battled lung and breast cancer, I have been with her through all of her trying times as well. I have a great respect for my elders, I feel they all have something to say, even if they just want to complain and bitch, I feel it's their right, they most likely just want someone to listen, someone to care. I enjoy being able to help people the young and the elderly. I feel the young and the elderly get pushed aside, not on purpose simply because of lifes pressures. For this reason I want to help, I geniunely care for people so I feel I should use that trait and offer my assistance.
