My name is April and a certified Personal Support Worker. My experience includes personal care, assist with medications, accompany client to their appointments, meal preparation and companionship. I have experience in dealing clients with dementia as well. I have 5 years plus experience as a Personal Support Worker. Throughout these years, I have learned and understand a lot about dealing with elderly clients. I am still learning everyday and doing my best to help them live their life as easy, happy and with a quality of care they deserve.

Provide assistance to the client's personal hygiene care, bathing, companionship, light housework and plan their daily activities according to their care plan. Ensure the safety and security of the client. Accompany client to their appointments. Provide proper nutrition with accordance to client's preferences. Document and report any changes in health and behavior to either supervisor, director of care, POA or family members. Maintain effective communication with the client. Engage client with exercises, activities such as walking, gardening or watching movie and brain stimulating games like puzzles.
