my name is April. I am a married Mom of two beautiful children. We recently relocated back to the Comox Valley from a short time living in Campbell River. (We were long time residents of the Valley previous to our two years living in CR.) I have thirty-eight years of combined child care and elder care experience, in many capacities, including the fields of companionship/respite/behaviour intervention/and educational assistance. Full time, part time, and casually during the past few years, and many times over the course of my years since the age of eleven, I have worked in and out of home as a nanny, provided respite care, companionship, elder care/visits with immediate relatives with multiple head injuries/developing dementia, short term babysitting, full time and part time care in and out of home, before and after school care to children of all ages and abilities, from newborn infants to teens (have some experience working with children with Autism and Down syndrome as well).
