I am currently a caregiver to my mother in the evening and weekends. She has dementia. I looked after a friends mother with Alzheimers for 2 years. I helped take her to appointments, ran errands, did grocery shopping, cleaned her apartment, set up appointments, managed her calendar, took her to movies/museums, went for walks, etc. I also was a companion to a cancer patient for 6 months. Helping bring her to the hospital, housecleaning, run errands for her and light cooking.
