The Caregiver Training I am currently completing (Training for Foreign Caregivers) at TLC Edmonton prepares me for all alspects of taking care of the elderly. The modules include: Care for the ELderlies, Disabilities, Nutrition, Cooking, Safety, Communication, and FIrst Aid/CPR. Furthermore, I have practical experience volunteering in a Senior Care Centre in Edmonton (Capital Care Lynwood), and providing care for my elderly aunt, who needed support with her physical condition. My taks included preparing meals as recommended by doctor, providing companionship and assisting her with all aspects of personal hygiene. I also provided care for my father who was hospitalized for 2 months in the Philippines.
