Hello, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Kate; I’m 22 years old and am a currently working as a doggy daycare attendant here in Langford. In my free time I enjoy gardening, hiking, kayaking, and further developing my skills as a communicator. It is important to me that when interacting with others, of any age group, they are validated, heard, and know that they have space to feel. I am a social justice advocate and a proud member of the queer community, I am looking to work with families that are LGBTQIA+ friendly, inclusive, and celebratory. I am First Aid Certified, have a clean driving abstract and Criminal Record Check, and have successfully completed 2 years of Queen’s University Bachelor of Science in Nursing program (2016-2018). Since then, I’ve been working a variety of jobs in different fields as to figure out my truest next steps in life. I have a passion for Early Childhood Educator and Birth Mentorship and am interested in future careers in adjacent fields. I follow Covid-19 safety protocols in my daily life, wear face coverings when I’m in public, have limited social interaction, and hand wash very regularly. If you think that we would make a good match for one another, I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for reading a little bit about me, have a good one. Cheers, Kate
