I was born and raised in the Philippines, growing up in a convent where I received a high standard of education from the Sisters of Mary School in Manila. This upbringing provided me with physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual strength. After completing my Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in Science from 1995-1999, I made the decision to stay home and support my mother and my older brother, who was sick at the age of 47. Being the eighth child out of nine siblings, I took on the responsibility of caring for them. Unfortunately, my brother passed away in 2004, and shortly after, my mother in 2005. At that point, I learned about the opportunities in Canada and the reputation it held as one of the richest countries in the world. In 2009, I made the journey from Taiwan to Canada, arriving on February 25th. Initially, I worked as a Live-in Caregiver until 2014. During that time, I took a short course in Healthcare/Personal Support Workers which helped me gain valuable skills. Since then, I have dedicated a significant amount of time volunteering at retirement homes, Toronto Alzheimer's Society, and the Daughter's of St. Paul. From 2015 to 2016, I worked as a Healthcare provider in various settings including retirement homes and private homes. Following that, I spent several years working in childcare from 2016 to 2019. More recently, I returned to my role as a Personal Support Worker, while also taking on a position at Maple Leaf Poultry Company as a general laborer during the Covid pandemic. Additionally, I provided specialized care to a client with McPhelan Syndrome for approximately 8-9 months. Throughout my professional journey, I have been recognized for my caring nature, adaptability, trustworthiness, resourcefulness, and strong work ethic. As a Canadian citizen now, I have spent over 10 years in Canada, building a life and contributing to society in various roles.

I look after elderly I help assisting his/her daily task hair grooming, bathing, feeding, medication, laundry. I even walked them when the weather is nice. And dance and sing to them. When the elders are still able and good in vision we played games like RamiQ, Bingo, and Exercise.
